:-( Used to Love Checco Zalone but now feels tired. He even couldn’t seem to be bothered acting. The topic is very relevant, a desperate tale of refugees running away from conflict, and it could have been a fantastic film if only they spent more time figuring out the plot, the dialogues and the acting. ‘Life is beautiful’ maybe what it inspired this, but the result is a B movie sadly.

This is neither good nor bad. Some people will like it and some other (like me) won’t. Poor acting and making a sci-fi movie without big special effects (save a few exceptions like the ship scene) are inexcusable in my opinion. Yes yes the casting was hideous, partly it gets balanced by some interesting take aways and considerations about being human. On the plus side it’s intriguing. Overall, it’s Netflix show… catering for large swathes of viewers and cramming in as much as possibile under a sci fi banner.

Slow, pretty , bloated, engaging at times and frustrating in others. Poor acting and questionable casting. A disappointment for me and the last episode was not worth the wait. If there is a season 2, it needs to pick up action and pace. And please script some proper dialogues.

It’s a B-movie stretched out to a series. Plot is not existing, fight scenes are risible. I genuinely don’t know where to start. Considering the hype, and the potential, this is a complete disaster.
