If you liked the progress nhl has made to make it more skilful stick with nhl22 or 23 the graphics are better but to be competitive online you can’t use skill stick you have to accept everyone moved to beginners buttons. If you liked when you didn’t have to make plays with a skill stick this is your game theres no skill involved in this game. I’ve played 30 games. I gave it a shot. Everyone I have played against only uses the easy basic controls. They can crush you with one button standing next to you. They get perfect snipes without aiming. The cleanest passing in any other NHL all you have to do is press a button. Do you wanna stick lift or poke check someone any place anytime and never ever get a penalty. No skill involved. Unless you are new and dont want to have the ability to have a realistic skill experience where you actually have to fake and make plays and aim and plan your next move just don’t waste your money and let your loved ones know. If they get you this thinking its nice ? They wasted their money and your patience. Im giving this a 1/5 because the graphics are really good.
