Really, the worst pacing I've ever seen. Every other scene is a flashback. We all know godzilla. We don't need a new backstory for what four reboot movies already gave us. A girl's father mysteriously dissappears and is declared dead. She finds out he had a second family. That's the end of that plot, just something to get us to have her go to japan for a while. They know of Mutos. They have a warning system in place yet the main character keeps acting like it's never happened outside of the time she was attacked in san Francisco. Then the main girl is kidnapped while walking past police, she could ask for help but nope, the writers needed to give us 2 mins of fake suspense for her to get in a pointless car crash, THEN she goes to the police and then they dont believe her. End of that. Oh, get ready for another flashback showing how her father once met her in san Francisco before leaving for good, and now she's teaming up with a hacker and a plucky nerd, how quaint. So far, three episodes in and it's terribly
boring. I grew up on Godzilla. Don't waste your time on this. Go see Godzilla Minus one or Shin Godzilla again. Maybe the future episodes will get better but right now, it's just a meandering backstory hour.
