The cinematography overwhelms: yet, an Oscar is coming. Denzel and McDormand performances intrigue the palettes of acting. They too will receive Oscar bows. The opening scene of the first witch deserves special notice for its authenticity and intensity on film. The eyes upon film history are watching, and they’re saying a masterpiece of a performance in acting. The cinematography never lets up and the expressionistic feel consistently shoots for imagery that enhances the story of power and greed - universal themes. Dare I say the politics of America’s opposition party being controlled by a man with those traits - enough to ruin the idea of no one above the law.
