*Spoiler Alert* This movie was horrible. Why I agree with some that the optics were wonderful, to me, that doesn’t make up for the fact that the actors that depicted Elvis and Priscilla looked nothing like them. The whole movie I craved to see Elvis character look more like him but it never happened. Some movies you can get lost in how eloquently an actor portrays its character and the looks don’t matter because the mannerisms and voice do so well….not in this movie. The only thing I could focus on was the fact that this movie was a fake. I don’t believe for a second that Pricilla didn’t like the stardom that came with being Elvis’ girlfriend while in high school. The “oh whoah is me” thing is gross and I don’t believe it for a second. Aside from that, there was only 1 song of Elvis’ through the whole movie. It was definitely thrown in our face that the whole time she was married to Elvis she was miserable and treated terribly. I don’t believe it. Scam. I would have walked out if it wasn’t for the fact I was with someone else and they found it comical, laughing through the whole thing. Might as well just pick 2 random people off the street and put them in a retro room and have the girl stare off into space while the guy beats her every once in a while. There, that’s the whole movie.
