Powerful, powerful story. The movie was humbling, touching, and emotional. The movie had a touch of cheesiness that comes with a smaller film studio, but in my opinion that didn’t detract from the story overall.
It is horrific that child trafficking or human trafficking in any form exists. I am not one to post online reviews, but after seeing this powerful movie and seeing the efforts by mainstream media to discount and sabotage it, I absolutely had to.
For anyone criticizing the “dramatization” of the story, or the way in which Tim Ballard and Operation Underground Railroad goes about rescuing trafficked children and arresting human traffickers, I encourage you to turn the conversation towards action. If you believe more can be done, make it happen.
