Honestly, I have not gotten through all seasons yet so maybe this review will change, but it is difficult to watch because of the dumb actions of the characters. I get initially, characters would not comprehend the danger and so not take it as seriously as they should, but when you have scenes like Travis' kid running to the car saying go go go and Travis steps out to look back to see what's going on, that sort of thing frankly wouldn't even happen in real life let alone in a world filled with zombies and bad people. You hit the gas and ask your kid down the road what happened. I guess I'm too impatient for stupidity. I get family dynamics but I find it incredible regardless of personality conflicts that family members would separate in an apocalypse. People have too much time to fuss about pettiness. I just don't think that's realistic. I saw some comments that disagree in that it makes it more realistic. I disagree. It's like watching one of those horror films where you're yelling at the dumb decisions of the characters. I dont know if I can make it to the end. Not because it's scary but because the writers created in my opinion unrealistic and dumb characters and situations.
