Royal Rice

I've seen some terrible films this year in theaters. Which is really a disappointment after being out of them for the past 2 years. But this movie has reinvigorated my hope that hollywood still can make a great movie! And this is it! Fresh and Original take on a franchise that is stale, predictable and boring. So glad to see a movie worth paying for that keeps your attention and is well shot, paced, acted and written. Well done Reeves.

This film. Oye. More plot holes than the roads of ILL. It reminded me of something i would have watched on the SyFy channel back in 2009. I heard other people say it was the most expensive B movie they had ever seen. A hard pass for me indeed. And many others in the theater actually were groaning at the absurdity and terrible plot of the film. So many directions the writers and director could have taken it and this is what we got.

Chris and Christian carry the film, but other than that its a shallow film with a flimsy plot and way to much cgi. The jokes dont land properly and way to much exposition. A shell of Ragnorrok.
