Picked up this book in Heathrow. It had me gripped all the way to Cairo. However, to simply describe this book as a thriller would be slightly to under-estimate the point of the tale. It is a powerful critique of the "mobile phone/social media " cancer with which we all live and the impossible decisions modern day parents have to work and deal with when it comes to teenager management. Ironically, the cause leads to devastating consequences being played out in full nature. The final twist to the tale could happen, and indeed has already happened, to many parents and children of our generation. This novel offers a much needed platform for discussion and for people to start thinking about the necessary remedial action that needs urgently to be taken.
