To start, let me establish that I was a HUGE fan of both Bill & Ted 1 and 2. I absolutely LOVED them as a kid. However, this 3rd one was just absolutely horrible imo. Here's some of the many reasons why: * The biggest plot hole is that people from the future, who can and have time traveled, didn't know it was Bill & Ted's kids instead of them??? That in and of itself is completely inane! They are from the future! There are obviously historical records, witnesses, iPhones and other recording devices that recorded it!!! With how many people witness what goes on, how could time-traveling humans from the future possibly NOT know that it was their kids instead of them?! The notion that they somehow confused who did it in and of itself completely turned me off from this movie. I don't know about other fans, but I personally wanted to see Bill and Ted succeed! * Tying into that, in the first two, we clearly see they eventually build a band, that the band includes their wives, death, and them. They make albums (doesn't Rufus even ask them to sign it for his kid?), they are renown all over the universe for saving it, yet their kids were NEVER mentioned in the first two?! Why was there absolutely NO mention of it from Rufus? The first two clearly firmly established it was them who did it, but then now, the people from the future suddenly know absolutely nothing of the past, everything they believed was apparently wrong, the band shifts to their kids, who just slop something together at the last minute, which just happens to unite the universe? I mean come on, wth... * The movie is generally depressing. Bill and Ted have been failures all their lives, their whole purpose of their life slipping through their fingers, and then they jump to futures where they also failed? Just so sad to see. And then on top of that, there is a robot sent from the future to kill Bill and Ted just in case? They go from practically worshiping them in the first movie, to trying to kill them?! There were TONS of other ways they could've explored the probable realities and come up with a better solution. * Their children having the same exact mannerisms, phrases, etc. of Bill and Ted was WAY too over the top. Were these kids isolated in the basement all their lives? How were they NOT exposed to other people that actually talked and acted normal?! Plus, their acting was HORRIBLE. I didn't even believe them as human beings, let alone Bill and Ted's kids. * They milked WAY too much of the content of the original movies. I mean the same phrases repeated, all for nostalgia. I get some of that is nice, but it was WAY too much rehashed. When I first heard about them making a 3rd Bill & Ted, I teared up a little. I was SO excited. But this dumpster fire of a movie was complete trash imo. The first two were funny and playful. This one was depressing, repetitive, unbelievable in every way, and overall horrible. Honestly, I feel like the writers just slopped some trash together simply to milk the original two. Shameless. They ripped the heart and soul out of two amazing movies, all for an extra buck.

I'm really not sure why the reviews are so great for this game. While it is fun and similar to prior games, it is lacking in multiple ways: *** SPOILER ALERT - SOME OF THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS *** * The graphics could've been FAR better. I've seen graphics of this quality in games from a decade ago. They didn't create nearly as much detail as they could have with today's resources. That was VERY disappointing. * It seems like game mechanics slopped together, and lacks a LOT of what a typical D&D game does. For example, you can't even create formations for your party (to put the tank and melee in front, casters behind)! These types of games always have this from what I've experienced, but they didn't even bother to do that! There's also a lot of in-game items that seem like they should be able to be used for something or other, but can't. Hammers, rope, cups, and much more, all unusable in any way. And there's no indicators in game as to what is trash, and what can be used, so you have to search online to find out if anyone else ever found a use for those things (which also risks you coming across spoilers). Just search around online and see the frustration. We can't do nearly as much as you can typically do in a D&D game. * Max level is limited to 20? There is SO much more we could do if we were able to level higher. More spells, more abilities, etc. I like games that let you become REALLY powerful, not limit you to becoming moderately strong, then cap you long before you acquire the stronger spells in the D&D world. This again made me feel like this was slopped together, as it seems they didn't want to invest the time into creating the graphics and mechanics for higher level, more complicated spells. * No necromancer class to play. Overall, I do like the game. There is an interesting storyline, and I do like how you're able to customize all your characters how you choose (at least their class and such). It's just for the price tag on this game, I was expecting MUCH more, and it falls well short of the type of D&D games I like to play (leveling up higher, more customization, more spells, etc.). I don't feel this game is worth the price.

This is the worst version of Diablo they've ever made for a number of reasons. You can see how low the reviews for it are, and there is VERY good reason. Note this is coming from a gamer who LOVED all the previous Diablo series and has been gaming since home-gaming existed (Commodore 64, Atari, etc.) The bad: * The absolute worst part is that the game is EXTREMELY easy (at least if you're a gamer) all the way until you COMPLETE the game!!! Then, after you've completely finished the campaign content (the main reason most people play), THEN you can actually make it harder. So, unless you plan to play it multiple times, you're not going to have any challenge * As you can see from the majority of the reviews on here, the game is a HORRIBLE grind. You play the same content over and over and over, just to get slightly better gear to keep grinding it over and over and over * HORRIBLE imbalances in classes. Necromancer can't hold their own in PVP. Barbarians at max level can one-shot just about anything in the game. Sorcerers are ridiculously OP as well, both in PVE and PVP * Blizzard forces you to play Diablo 4 online, even if you don't want to play with anyone else. Now, some of you may be wondering "who cares if I have to play online, my console/PC is always online anyway." But, here is the problem with that - LAG. When you get into fights that are very time-sensitive, like avoiding a one-shot mechanic of a boss at JUST the right moment, the game will fail you miserably. Lag will cause everything to be a split second behind your reactions. You will see yourself evading an attack well before it actually hits you, but then you still die anyway, because their server didn't pick up your move in time. I have had this happen to me countless times * FOG. Yes, you read that right, fog. It's horrible. For some inane reason, they thought it would be a good idea to add fog into 70% of the game. All it does it make it look blurry. I have absolutely no idea what they were thinking when they added in so much fog. It's like they said "let's make some really great graphics, but then blur all the great graphics out with fog so they can't even see them!" It's like they intentionally tried to reduce the quality of their graphics! ----- Ok, there is much more I could add for bad, but that is the top issues. Now, I will touch on the good: * In parts of the game where they haven't blurred them out with fog (which is honestly maybe 60% of it at best), the graphics are pretty good * While you get pigeon-holed near the end of game with your builds, throughout the game prior to end-game content, you have quite a bit of flexibility in your class builds (mainly because it is so easy) * There are some interesting unique items at the end-game that change the play-style for some classes, sometimes even completely changing how a specific attack or spell works -- Bottom line - don't waste your money on this game

SPOILER ALERT!!! This reboot is a perfect example of a group of tasteless, talentless individuals from Hollywood stealing an old series' heart and soul right out of its very chest. The writers seem to have severe ADHD. Either that or they simply have no care about consistency. The show is riddled with plot flaws and other inconsistencies. To name just a few that I can think of off the top of my head: 1) At one point, as Macy (one of The Charmed Ones) is using more of her demon powers, she puts her hand on the stove and gets severe burns without noticing. Harry (their white-lighter) tells her she did not feel it because her skin is thickening and her nerves withdrawing, increasing her pain threshold like a demon. Meanwhile, she continues using her demon side, yet her pain threshold goes right back to normal and this issue is NEVER mentioned again, despite her demonic powers growing FAR more after the stove incident. So, they either completely forgot about it, or just didn't know what to do with it from there. Also note that other demons in this series feel pain much easier than she did as well, which makes even less sense of the stove incident. 2) When The Charmed Ones are first transported to the Elder's "Safe Space," magic is neutralized in that place. They even take advantage of this to lure a demon there and kill him when he is powerless. The writers apparently forgot they made this rule there, as later in episodes, pretty much everyone ends up being able to use magic in the same exact spot it was originally neutralized in. 3) The Charmed Ones lose their powers in season 2. Then, their powers gradually come back, but in completely different ways to two of them. They explain this as "their powers are growing," yet now, one of them seems unable to freeze time anymore, which was far more useful than her "I can warm up a cup of coffee for you" ability her power "grows" to later. Sorry, but I would take freezing time over warming up a cup of tea any day. Oh, and she can make a few ice cubes to cool off your beverage as well. But yea, no more freezing time. And while another Charmed One once was an empath, she now has an ability like Phoebe did of premonition, but completely loses her empath ability in the process. This isn't "growth of their powers," it is completely different powers altogether, with what appears to be (for ALL of season 2) a complete loss of their original powers. Again, it makes no sense. I am sure I could come up with plenty more inconsistencies if I really thought about it, but these are just the ones off the top of my head. These script writers are failing miserably with inconsistencies like this. What makes it even worse is the complete lack of chemistry amongst ANY of the characters. The sisters constantly bicker, yet are supposedly going to overcome what the original sisters (which had FAR more chemistry together by LIGHT YEARS) couldn't - keep the sisterhood from being broken by one of their deaths. No, not a chance in hell they have of accomplishing that. If the other previous Charmed Ones had even WORSE relationships than these three do, then this universe makes REALLY poor choices in what sisters it chooses, as their relationships are completely dysfunctional. They constantly lie to one another, hide secrets, hold resentment, etc. And I can't believe these writers had the audacity to try to make a love drama they would hope could compare to Phoebe and Cole (the original). Parker is a joke compared to Cole.

Huge disappointment. The concept of this sequel had so much potential, but content and gameplay failed miserably for a myriad of reasons. ** Spoiler Alert ** 1) Lack of immersion - A god is planning to destroy the cycle of reincarnation, yet there is no sense of urgency in the game. Some of the dialogues touch on the magnitude, but you can essentially run around the world doing whatever, wasting time, and no consequences at all. You'd think with what's at stake, the focus would be more developed around Eothas and what he is doing. 2) Extremely linear purpose (that is less than anti-climatic) - The majority of the game, you wander around performing menial tasks for people when you are supposed to be this "amazing herald of Berath." Not believable for one second when a lot of your quests are going around killing people for bounties. Other than the main plot, there is nothing else in the game that is immersive in the least bit. Very basic character development and questlines, petty quarrels amongst factions and such, etc. Nothing that makes you feel like a powerful watcher of any sort. 98% of the game, you're an errand boy/girl. 3) Poor development of classes - Each class is EXTREMELY limited, so you really have very little versatility with any given class. With mages, there's usually 2-3 good spells in any given tier and that's about it. Some of the concepts are interesting, but they fail miserably. 4) Bugs bugs and more bugs - It seems like this release was a beta. I can't remember the last time I played a game with so many bugs in it. Many wands, scepters, and rods that are supposed to have a % chance to cast something that have a "0% chance" to activate. Quests that can't be finished, but also can't be removed from your quest logs. 5) Poorly developed/implemented game mechanics - The AI in the game is horrible. One of my mages kept trying to cast the same level 2 spell the whole way through the game, even when he had level 8 spells at the end of the game. Yes, there's an interface where you can change the AI, but there is no explanation of how it works. So, you can spend a ton of time trying to search online how to actually set it up, or do everything manually every fight. My priest kept trying to cast spells to protect or remove negative afflictions when no one in the area of effect had any on them. Meanwhile, she had no problems letting my tank die. Then, there are multiple other mechanics in game that go to waste because they aren't viable in combat, aren't that useful in general, etc. At the end of the game, I had a TON of items in my inventory that just went to waste. 6) EXTREMELY limited merchant items - In the earlier part of the game, you run into a city that has a modest amount of items to purchase that would be upgrades (Delver's Row). However, when you first get there, you usually don't have nearly enough coin to buy much of any of it. By the time you explore and do enough quests to buy the items, you've usually already acquired better items from exploring. There are a VERY small handful of other merchants that sell some "ok" items, but they are extremely few and far between. It's also VERY tedious wandering around the globe to various locations just to try to get crafting items and such. There are so many, many other issues with this game as well, but I think that gives you a decent idea that unless you're really bored, this is going to be a waste of your time. I needed a break from stress, so figured I'd give it a shot. While I liked the first one, this one just wasn't very enjoyable at all. Too many issues.
