I stuck through with it until the end with growing disbelief that the BBC produced this, but the end reflects the whole thing: Unrestrained self-indulgence. From the little sense to be made of the ending, the innocence or guilt is left to the viewer. I fail to see after 4 episodes why any viewer would still care one way or the other. I chose to watch this on the basis that the BBC always produces good quality drama. This proves that such a generalization is flawed.
