Pointless movie. Very well made though - visually stunning, great background score, nice acting, but then u keep waiting for something to happen it never does. Apart from the usual missteps in space and an old man seeing kids.. Practically nothing happens. no explanation is given for events, it just feels like the movie was made to show Clooney can act and direct a visual treat. Really? 2 hours of my life for this. You can skip this. You won't miss anything. If u really must watch.. Stop after 15 mins.. Assume that the movie ends with Sully's dream of being left on K23! Atleast thats the best part.. But heck thats a dream!!
