Most of these reviews are beyond miserable lmao. I only started watching because of Colin Morgan but I loved it. Ingrid is slightly jarring (through no fault of Emma Appleton’s, the character is just written to be… not the best OR wisest person). That was the biggest downfall for me. Plus, sometimes the less-frequently-seen characters could be hard to keep track of. But other than that, each episode had a twist that made me want to watch the next and I thought the acting, for the most part, was great. I’m hoping they’ll do a season 2 but that never seems to be the case these days!

Without a Paddle

I rented it after reading the reviews because I thought it would be absolutely awful and I’d get a good laugh. Turns out I actually quite enjoyed it haha. It would’ve been better if it was a little more believable/possible as some of it had me rolling my eyes a little. And I’m sure the actors saved it quite a lot. But the characters are very likeable, especially when they’re working together on the island, and there are some pretty funny lines. Plus it’s shot very well. Definitely nowhere near as bad as I expected.

Meg 2: The Trench

It normally takes me weeks or months to finish a book. I read this in three days. It’s hard to believe that those things actually happened, but even harder to believe someone could go through so much and still come out of it as a glass-half-full kind of person. What a man Henry Oster was. I would have loved to have met him. If you’re even considering it in the slightest, PLEASE get this book. It’s beyond eye opening and inspiring. You won’t regret it.
