I think I liked it. And I don't agree with the negative comments at all, but I am confused. The big glaring problem for me was the total lack of appeal in Turturro's character, sexual or otherwise . He was just odd in every way. This was an unlikely relationship for Gloria. I kept waiting for the hidden reason he was so appealing to be revealed. There were some scenes that made me cringe in sympathy and understanding for Gloria such as the dinner with the family including the ex-husband and the lost shoe episode (don't look for a lost shoe - it's a euphemism for the scene). Again Turturro's character was puzzling and I just wanted to smack him. Loved the ending! You go, Gloria!!!! PS: The reason I went to this movie in the first place was because of the interview Christiane Amapour did with Moore and Turturro. I should re-watch it because I must have missed something.
