Enjoyed the story and the acting. Also enlighten to the activists in this period of time. I was in high school and had no idea of the turmoil across America. This movie had me researching more.
Huge fan of Robert Redford and Susan Sarandon.

The movie brought out the complexities of intimate partner abuse. It captured how both never dealt with past trauma, and how it can manifest when they are adults and in relationships.
Domestic Violence intensifies and the cycles are too complicated for a 2 hour movie but Lily reaching out to both Kyle’s sister and to Atlas captured the significance of support and friendship. Blake Lively brought authenticity and warmth to her character.
