At first I was gonna give it a higher review, then changed my mind. Where to even begin?
First of all, this movie is an exact copy of the movie 47 meters down. Quite literally a repeat of the plot. Surprised they didn't get sued for this. Anyways, both movies have the cliche storyline of a naive protagonist (who went through some sort of boy trouble) traveling with another adventurous female companion. Of course, the traveling buddy is a huge daredevil who thinks of the most stupid, crazy, and dangerous shit to do. After begging like an incompetent 5-year-old, the main protagonist finally gives in to whatever stupid idea the other girl had. Lo and behold, it turns out to be incredibly dangerous and both end up in a really bad situation (stuck at the top of a 2,000-foot cell tower and stuck in a cage 47 meters down with hungry sharks).
Throughout both movies, both characters try unsuccessfully at multiple escape attempts. After realizing they are going to die, both make confessions to each other about their failures in life, somehow prompting some sort of healing or spiritual reconciliation. After that, the main protagonist realizes that half the time she was imagining her friend, who in reality is dead. Once she realizes she was talking to an imaginary person, she has a freakout moment and somehow uses that as a propellent to then find the will to "live". Then, somehow search and rescue magically saves the main protagonist girl and she is lifted to safety. LITERALLY, BOTH PLOTS FROM BOTH THESE MOVIES ARE THE EXACT SAME!!!! PREDICTABLE AND BORING. I knew EXACTLY what was going to happen in "Fall" from the first 10 minutes of watching. The stupid blonde girl, Hunter, was gonna die and somehow Becky was gonna survive.
