The script is truly terrible y’all. The story is so rushed it doesn’t allow for character development so it’s difficult to swallow the level of cheese since you haven’t been given to opportunity to fall in love with the characters. I think the script and the rushed story is what makes the acting also feel so terrible… but maybe it just is terrible? Gosh y’all this seems like a situation where you really need to read the book to understand the charm of the story? It feels demeaning to both black people and Italians due to the constant stereotyping of both. I don’t believe the love story at all? I’m so confused & feel too judgmental because it appears most other don’t share my sentiments. Also, I should mention I never read the book and am only on episode 3 so maybe I’m just in a bad mood. Anywho, rant ended.
