How could anyone find Common People something to cry about? I don’t care about the characters and the plot is so simple and boring. A subscription life service? Ads? A LiveLeak x Onlyfans? These are all unoriginal ideas bound together from both older, better episodes, media like The Truman show and current issues. It’s not new. Worst, it doesn’t even feel emotional to me like Fifteen Million Merits. I stopped halfway and found out the abrupt, ‘tragic’ ending. Black Mirror still gets under my skin, which is good. But, the payload is not there. I’m glad I stopped watching. Nothing beats the OG from Channel 4 and Netflix Season 4.
