I’ve waited five years since the release of the first film for this to come out, and I was not disappointed. Personally, I’d give this movie an 8/10. The monster fight sequences were epic and the visual effects for each monster was incredibly well-done. Although I enjoyed the 2014 Godzilla film, I absolutely loved how this film brought in more familiar monsters from the original films: Each monster had their own set of surprises for the audience. Pros: > Epic monster fight scenes > More monster action than the 2014 film > Great graphics > Incredible designs for the monsters Cons: > Storyline wasn’t very well put together > Human characters were a little too fresh (No characters from the previous film appeared) I’ve always watched the Godzilla films primarily for the monster action. I personally don’t care too much for the human drama in the films. So in my opinion, this is a must-see movie.
