My children watch the first series back in the 70's when we lived in Brake bei Bielefeld NRW Germany. Being English they would seat and follow the story. Even today they would hear the opening theme sang by Karl Gott takes them back to 1977.
Then a fre years back my Granddaughter watch the new series in English. The memory's for me came back to those happy days in Germany
