I thought the movie started out slow and did not have much of a plot, but as the movie went along the “smart plot” started to develop and made you appreciate the performances of all the actors. If you have ever had a loved one or a loved one of a friend that had dementia, this is a powerful and unforgettable movie. Will be recommending it to all of my friends as a must see!

Excellent acting of a heartbreaking story showing the best and the worst of mankind. The script was extremely well written at the level of an award winning movie. Highly recommend the film being made available to middle and high school students as the ugliness of the civil war and slavery is not taught in an honest way under the guise of not wanting the white students to feel guilty for something that they had no part of.

Did not pay attention that it was a short. Was pissed when it was over. Powerfully moving performance leaving you wanting more. Can watch it over and over again and not get tired of it. It will move you each time. The power of love!

Acting and plots were riveting. Smart and sophisticated writing put it above most tv dramas that I have ever watched. Entire cast were phenomenal. Wish the series would have continued. As good as it gets!
