I NEED A SEQUEL RIGHT NOW this book and the way it was written was so captivating and I am such a distracted reader. I was immersed heavily. I understand how the book doesn't really need a sequel but I have unanswered questions and the ending was very open letting you guess and make your own ending. In some cases this is perfect but the story was too good to just be one book. With the fact that Lyra and her kindred were not fully defeated, it leaves a perfect new story and wherever ellerie and her family end up could be up for a risk. Maybe she seeks revenge? But anyways I loved the book and am just sad that it is over, definitely rereading and going to try and answer some of the questions from the ending pages.
