Watched "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui" today, and was greatly impressed with the overall performance of the actors and the social message that came across very clearly and powerfully. Hats off to Director Abhishek Kapoor for taking up a bold theme in this movie and for carrying over the social message to the masses very vividly. I believe this movie will be eye opener for many and will change perspectives on how one views transgenders. Ayushmaan Khurana was simply great in this movie. His transformation into a body builder must have been a long strenuous act. It speaks a lot about the actor's mindset and determination. One of the reasons I watch his movies is coz he takes risk by taking movies that has a bold subject. He's one of the most versatile actors of the industry. Loved Vaani Kapoor's role too. She easily embedded into the role of a transgender and carried the subject very powerfully throughout the movie. Also enjoyed the roles played by Vaani's dad & friend. My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
