Edward Ober

I loved this film! Yes, its cartoonish and over the top, but that is key to its brilliance. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but it has amazing wall to wall action as good as any martial arts film out there. I laughed so hard at so many places my cat jumped and ran off my lap. Its not too gory but it does have a fair amount of violence, so while its extremely funny it also may not be suitable for young children. Stephen Chow is a genius and this film has to be one of the greatest in its genre.

Great action movie with some amazing fight scenes and incredible action photography. There is this one scene where the camera is following a vehicle in a high speed pursuit in one long continuous shot and the camera goes from outside the vehicle following it to inside the vehicle through the rear window and then out the other rear window all while the car is moving and spinning at high speeds. That was some real movie magic.
