Saw this movie with my sister inside a packed theatre, at the end, there was a solid round of applause. this moving was outstanding, the CGI was shaking at some points but the fantastic cast made up for it. I grew up with the original ariel and whenever I want that old nostalgia I can go back, but this new remake was a beautiful picture all on its own. Halle bailey's casting was an amazing choice, her acting, her otherwordly beauty, and her majestic singing voice - 10/10. Ursula and Sebastian acted their butt off too. I wish people would stop throwing around words like "woke," "diversity," and "inclusion," and be honest about why they're really mad. no remake is ever true to the original, if it was it wouldn't be a remake!
