I really have no other choice than to give a game of this caliber a 5/5. It’s honestly just refreshing to play something that is not grindy, and has more life and story in it than anything else I have ever played in 30 years. It reminds me a lot of mass effect, but on a whole other level. The choices in this game not only have consequences but they warrant multiple playthroughs. Even if you chose a good path again, you will still find encounters that feel unique the second time. This is a game made for gamers! And unlike many other games today that are just trying to milk you for more money, or make the game boringly long just to try and keep you playing. BG3 is the pinnacle of what an amazing game can and should be. It doesn’t need to be an open world to make a game this good either. I really look forward to more of that this studio makes in the future.
