The writers show poor skills from the very start, they didn't have any idea about how humans instinct and morals work in such an apocalypse, and through all the series the characters personalities didn't change for better or worse like "Pope" for example. The long talks were so boring and I praised the Fast forward button. For 3 years they were never out of ammo/weapons or fuel/vehicles. Then the super advanced aliens are everywhere but our heroes just drive around peacefully and have long chats (maybe cuz they are Americans!!). I sensed the Road Runner and Coyote cartoon, the coyote try methods to hunt the road runner but only once!!! In falling skies first season they found the alien communication can be interrupted with regular short wave radio but never used after that, same goes for mech ammo and other things. I wonder about the message behind all of this!!! Are the "Mason" family presenting the "God's Chosen People" ? I like the idea of the lead actor using a Russian weapon throughout the series, that's a change 😃
