Absolutely riveting . As a person of the same generation , I am totally in awe of the author’s memory for books read as a young girl. As well, her narrative beginning with gentility and tradition in the American south to her emergence as a whole person shedding one skin after another is thrilling . Actually, I’m learning a lot about myself. . Thank you
