Awesome movie for Minecraft fans. They mostly stuck to things that are in the Minecraft world, only venturing off for a funny scene. The Overworld looked epic! The film was very funny and engaging, I’m fairly new to Minecraft (introduced to it by my teenager) but I was hooked throughout. If you haven’t played Minecraft you might need your kid or friend to explain a few things, it’s still entertaining for people who aren’t that familiar with it but this really is one for the fans. Jason Mamoa & Jack Black are absolutely brilliant together - a duo we didn’t know we needed but now can’t live without!

It takes quite a while to get going, don’t expect to be very interested until about an hour in. Billie Piper, is distracting as she is not a great actress. Casting her in this is letting the whole show down, there are some incredible actors in this. She seems a sweet woman but she’s just not good! Overacts, terrible facial expressions, misses cues, I don’t mean to be horrible but I find she absolutely takes me out of what I’m watching. Aside from Billie Piper, the show was fairly well done, it’s not riveting, it’s ok… ! I have to say one thing I have taken from it, is the wondering how this must have felt for Andrew’s daughters. The cheesy BBC pride is extremely cringeworthy. I do not think the BBC hold people to account and I do not watch any live TV Because I do not want to pay for a TV licence. The BBC got this interview by chance, and because the Royals would of course choose the BBC. The BBC is not special.

A real shame, it’s got that new weird modern sitcom style where it’s all shouty and hyper and doesn’t flow. I hated the pilot but gave it another go, I’ve watched all of the series now. They had some nice ideas for the story, but it just wasn’t executed well. There’s a lot of girly screaming and loud shouting millennials using words like FOMO .. I’m 31… I’ve never said or typed (until just now) the word FOMO. It’s very ‘try hard’, to show it’s 2022. They’ve really got it wrong, most people around my age don’t like a lot of this TikTok crazy dance rubbish and stupid acronyms yet they focus on these sorts of new trends EVERY episode. I also have no idea what they’re thinking with this British guy, he’s apparently never been in a bathroom in a bar? Trust me the rich trustee kids spend plenty of time in bars 😂 they’ve painted this weird thing about England being perfect and pristine. I know he’s supposedly rich but it’s far fetched it’s ridiculous. Perhaps it went down well with Americans because of the stereotype but it was just cringe worthy and reaching. I laughed once throughout the whole 10 episodes. It’s just not very good. I can see my little sister (age 20) liking it because she grew up watching this sort of annoying rubbish and Kardashians. I don’t think many people who have watched HIMYM will like this show, the age group is 30s who watched HIMYM and HIMYF is aimed more for the early 20s who grew up on YouTube, tik tok and Disney shows. It could have been a lot better. Really disappointing. Lovely to see Kim Katrall though.
