The Marvels is full of fun action sequences, comedy, and some fan surprises near the end. Capitan Marvel is given a bit more heart and could develop into a more well-rounded character in the future. Both Kamala's and Monica's powers are fun to see on the big screen. The theme of teamwork and trust runs throughout. Samuel L Jackson as Fury is always great, but seeing the possible future of the franchise was also worth the ticket price. The Disney princess sequence is a bit over the top, but doesn't take itself too seriously or last too long to be unbearable. Kamala's family are a highlight for comedy. But the movie also pulls at your heartstrings. A nice Marvel formula of superheroes saving the world from a motivated but misguided villian. The mid-credit scene also gives you a nice peak into possible future movies.
