In two words – bad book. As if authentic but practically not at all. As if emotional and honest but not quiet. The main character basically tells us random facts about her life but skips the less friendly ones, leaving us with a "please hear me, I'm so special" story with no real substance. However, as a non-native speaker of English, I would say that its meager vocabulary and readability, make it a good book for practicing English as a 2nd language. I guess this is not that important to most English literature readers though
