Nothing like the original! Feels rushed and a hard time connecting with any of the characters. No singing and no general Shang, no Mushu, no cricket, no grandma.. Instead a witch who is also a hawk, a spider, and a sister? None of the same characters. I feel that the very essence of Mulan was lost in this movie.. a young woman who is struggling to find her place in the world. She then shows bravery and is determined to bring honor to her family and discover where she belongs. They portray her as an ultimate fighter before she even leaves for war.. very sad and disappointed! Could have been made better!
