Maybe this new generation that has never seen the original can enjoy it, i really couldn't. Connor McGregor's acting is unbearable, i was close to turning it off and going to bed but i lived the original so much i gave it a chance to suck me in. It failed miserably. The casting and the dialogue are horrible and the situations just fail to make any sense. They should have had Sam Elliott play the bar owner and cast some believable bad guys, even the extras seemed out of sorts. Its a roadhouse, where's the truckers and local southern boys? Instead you got dolled up yuppies and a moshposh of bad guys that looked more like millenial gamers then bad guys.. i think Jake did well for what he was given but the whole thing just fell far short of the original. Please forgive us, Patrick Swayze.
