It was a breath of fresh air among all individual avenger/marvel movies. For a film that introduces a superhero, the story was given more focus. and I liked that about the movie. The film had more depth in terms of its story and how Captain Marvel became the individual that she is. I specifically loved the twist of the story vs what has been shown in trailers. It hit the soft part of me when the story shifted which I seldom see in other marvel movies. And not just one died. Because of how the film was made. Brie herself was just okay in terms of her acting. In a sense that she may need to project more of the character to the film. I guess was expecting more assertiveness, more authority and strong personality in the movie. Nevertheless, overall, she still gave justice to the character. Jude Law was awesome! Never did I expect that he can nail a character like that. 😊
