Great feel good happy film all the family will enjoy. The plot is a bit thin but it’s easy to follow for children with plenty of action and jokes to keep everyone entertained. There are lots of great references to the old Mario games and the casting is perfect .For me the Pixar films have become too upsetting for small children and they try to be a bit too clever sometimes so it’s nice to go to a family film that just wants to be fun. It is a good, fast paced, funny film that anyone who likes the Mario games will love. Ignore the critics.
