I found this series a difficult watch. Not because of the gruesome content but because the storyline jumps around so much eg:comic books featuring Nazis and the Alfred Hitchcock scenes etc. I found it hard to distinguish what is supposed to be reality and what are delusions. I found the acting better than I had expected as Charlie Hunnam did a surprising good job as well as Lauie Metcalf. I find the plot is so hard to follow particularly the scenes with Adelaide. I can't shake the idea that I must be missing something
