Beautifully directed by Joe Wright and a quite phenomenal performance by Luca Marinelli. Not usually into subtitles but this kept me riveted

5 star for the books,3 for the tv rendition. I've been reading the books and then watching the series. The further I get into it the better the books get and the worse the tv series gets. If perhaps the tv series had stuck to the story of the books it might have lasted longer than series 6
