After 20 minutes of the movie that was good enough. It reminded me of the soap opera Bridgerton - 5 minutes was all I watched. I really enjoyed the older movie versions of Jane Austen's work. This version of Persuasion should've just changed the title. The narration was weird, the language and characters were inaccurate, it was all too modernized. Wouldn't recommend.
