EXCELLENT FILM. Graceful and beautiful direction. Great acting and art direction. I would have loved to see a sequel to conclude the plot — but the ending was still successful in closing the chapter for the characters. Historical LGBT+ films are very important and this film will be added to the list of great and meaningful art, that tells an important lesson about humanity, and acceptance.

The best part of this series is the cast. It’s simply full of great actors! Lead by the exemplary actor Edvin Ryding, as Prince Wilhelm and accompanied by the handsome Omar Rudberg, as Simon (with the beautiful voice). Even supporting roles like Queen Kristina played by Pernilla August is a well rounded character. Then there's Malte Gårdinger (August), Frida Argento (Sara), Nikita Uggla (Felicie), whom all light up the screen. If you watch Thai BL, or are a member of the LGBT+ community, or love shows like Elite and Gossip Girls… you will adore this show! For the people who enjoy a great young adult scandal series like How To Get Away With Murder, there is something here for them too. I’m excited to see what happens in season 2, because they end season 1 without a complete resolution — so season 2 is sure to be delightfully full of emotion. I cannot give enough praise and admiration to the director, cast and crew for bringing such bold and beautiful characters to life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, BEAUTIFUL SHOW.
