This movie was painfully bad from start to finish. The running time of 2hrs and 10 mins could have easily been cut down to 90mins considering half the movie is so dark you can’t even tell what’s going on. I remember one seen in particular where he’s walking to the front door of the castle. Felt like it took him 5 mins to get there and we got to watch every step…. The plot was weak, the acting embarrassing at times and the love story (both of them) completely forced and unbelievable. After almost walking out of the theater 4 times I made it to the end of the movie. Feeling like a freed prisoner I left the theater and hopefully that memory of that movie behind me. Do yourself a favor. Rent Bram stokers Dracula and save yourself 2.1 hours of time.
