Despite some messy sound mixing for this compilation that removes some of the fidelity of the music, this is a great item to own for any beach boys fan. I see this being the first album newcomers go to start (including me) and for good reason as it gives a good look through the band's history. Definitely a recommendation if you can ignore the admittingly messy sound mixing
