Parts of The Testaments read like fan fiction.
Ada: "Hey, Daisy you are really Baby Nicole. We need to send you into Gilead"
Daisy: "OK, whatever. Oh look, a cute boy to hang out with for a few days before I begin my secret agent assignment I know nothing about but will accept without asking any questions".
It was nice to find out some answers about how the story ends, but getting there was too convenient, too quick, and too lazily written.
