This movie for me has definitely brought back the Magical side to the Wizarding world with beautiful creatures, spells, cinematography and of course Hogwarts. Frequently, there were scenes that would make you giggle and keep you engaged, this was very good and I found myself gasping and disturbing people on some particular scenes…. Ooops!
From being a fan of Johnny Depp’s Grindelwald, I was interested in seeing how Madd’s would do, and I was very impressed!
In my opinion, he portrayed Grindelwald as a more merciless and cunning character. I loved the subtle manipulation and the charm that would just capture the audience!
This film did have quite a confusing plot line and even me and my friend who are (complete potter heads) had us staring at each other a bit confused. I’d also like to mention that my friend and I had been waiting for a long time, very excited for the film and we did agree on this film being more of a filler film and leading to the next one, while giving the audience handfuls of information to help them on their journey. Considering the fact that we’ve been waiting for so long, I did hope for a well-structured plot but as I say, it didn’t stop me from enjoying the film and I like that each character has more depth and the cinematography, acting, and storyline keeps the magic in our hearts. I always find watching any Fantastic beasts or happy potter film at the cinema really hits the emotions and escapism like nothing else!
Please do give this film a watch, I am too emotionally connected to everyone to see them not make a fourth film haha! ☺️
Take care dudes!
