I’ve played through Pokémon Violet and beaten the game at this point. And despite a few bugs and issues in the beginning it has become hands down my favorite Pokémon game ever. And I’ve played literally all of them. A big open world, freedom of choice on your journey, cool new Pokémon, actually interesting story and characters. There is so much they got right this generation of Pokémon games. I can’t wait for patches in the future to smooth out the rough edges but honestly it didn’t stop me one bit from LOVING this game and beating the main story arcs. (Victory road, beating up team Star, and saving the region by clearing the crater.)
