This was not at all what I was expecting. You expect it to be predictable, and then it just keeps twisting and turning, but not making it hard to understand, something that is relatively hard to do with a movie with as many twists as this. But it was just so good. SUPER dark for a PG-13 rating. The acting was fine, but Jennifer Lawrence is always a win. Great movie!

I’ve seen every single episode of Family Guy, and it is, without a doubt, my favorite show ever. It’s ridiculously funny and perfectly on point. It’s just the perfect amount of satirical and random, and while the all of the jokes are reused, they are always used in creative ways, which I find amazing. This show is amazingly consistent in humor, and they are always coming up with new ideas for episodes. I truly believe that they can go on for almost as long as the Simpsons. The voice actors are perfect for their roles, and I love the cast. They just seem to go so well with their animated counterparts. Again, this show is so funny, and if you’re looking for a good show to watch, this is it.

My main problem with this movie is that it was flat out boring. It started out strong, and I was very intrigued, but towards the end is where it got dull. It was just the characters walking around being spooked, and a lot of it was left unanswered (like the part with the river). It made no sense and overall was a very boring movie. Two stars because the jump scares were pretty on point most of the time.

Absolutely incredible. The tension built up through Mark Duplass’ slow collapse into insanity made the experience truly uncomfortable. I’ve always found this type of style (found footage) really fun to watch. Cloverfield, Blair Witch, etc. I love it all. The big reveal at the end was so creepy, the fact that he had been doing this for years, and it just really hit me like a truck that stuff like this can (and has) probably happen. If you’re looking for your next creep out movie, this is the one.

I. Love. This. Movie! I’m really into cubing, and when I saw this on Netflix, I just knew I had to watch it. Sue Kim did such a great job filming this. The camera work was so great, and the 80’s style synth music worked so well. The way the friendship between Feliks and Max was shown in this was incredible. I aspire to be as good a friend to other people as Feliks has to been to Max. Their stories are so inspiring to me, and I really hope that I one day will get to be around where they are in their cubing careers. Sue Kim took the time to show the world of speedcubing and I am just so thankful for that. I love this movie so much, and it will always be one of my favorites of all time.
