To watch a show on a weekday at 10 pm had me wishing for just one thing - please be good! And boy, what a surprise this film is. It’s a visual treat for any Marvel/ DC + Bollywood fan, it’s like the perfect mash up of all the worlds I’ve loved. Thank you Ayan for envisioning such a deep rooted and sensical concept but moreover executing it with such gusto. The VFX was crisp and thoroughly enjoyable in its 3D format, the chemistry of the lead pair is crackling - Ranbir and Alia are pure magic on screen and the surprise cameos in the movie are a delight with purpose. The preview of this first installment of a trilogy is just enough to keep you hooked and rooting for more. The pros of the movie outweigh the cons, the sheer dedication and love to create this Astraverse shows in every frame. Boycott something else, give this a shot for the love of bringing Indian cinema to a sci-fi platform with this gem of a film. Can’t wait for the next installments, this was definitely a great introduction, bravo team!
