It is very irritating when period dramas are corrupted with people from every country other than Britain itself when it is a British drama. Yes you want to promote equality and spread the message of humanity rather than discrimination and all, but it is silly to cast people who "looks" spoils the historical accuracy of that age. If we just need to know the story, you can instead release an audio book.
