Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) follows Stefani Reyes, a college student who begins experiencing vivid nightmares of a catastrophic tower collapse that occurred in 1968. Upon returning to her hometown, she learns from her grandmother, Iris Campbell, that the disaster was narrowly avoided by Iris due to a premonition she had. However, surviving such an event comes with a curseโone that affects future generations. Stefani soon realizes that Death is targeting her family, and they must find a way to break the cycle of fate.
The movie delves into the psychological toll of these premonitions, as Stefani and her family are forced to confront their own deaths, which seem unavoidable despite their attempts to cheat fate. As the deaths become more inventive and gruesome, Stefani races against time to understand the cause of the curse and unravel the connection between her family and the disaster.
The film blends the signature horror of the Final Destination franchise, with inventive and grotesque death sequences that reflect the series' trademark style, while adding a new twist to the story by connecting the horrors of the past to a new generation's struggle for survival.
