The best Deep Green Fantasy I’ve read in a long time. Not Deep Deep Green but Green enough for my yearning soul to enjoy and ponder upon. It was a glimpse of what the world could be like. A possible reality. Not a utopian dream or even a totalitarian Communist nightmare, just a great imagining of a different way of living, surviving and sharing the world that enhances and enables our natural instincts to look after each other and all the complex eco systems we depend upon. Together with exploring some wonderful new futuristic tech that sounds exciting. He also goes into a history of how Gardenia became Gardenia! Not well written in places, so not a poetic triumph, but full and brimming over with a complex vision of what the world could be… if only….Would love to see it all as a movie one day!!
