The critics shouldn’t be able to rate this game a high score if they aren’t really fans. I’ve been here since the beginning and Mario kart Wii and Mario kart 8 blow this game out the water. It’s a fun new concept and the characters are exactly what we asked for but (still where is toadsworth ? And baby donkey Kong? And I feel like none of the kongs are here, which is a huge problem considering a new donkey Kong is coming out - that is estimated to be epic. they updated our character list - we love it . But made the tracks so open they don’t even feel like Mario kart anymore. It takes 10 minutes just to get to the main attraction on each track. You’re driving in a straight line for ages. You’ll be excited at first and then …. We went from 4 rainbow road options to one that combines the 4 perfect tracks ? What the hell !!! I hope it gets better I really do. The open world option is amazing but as for grand pri and vs ? Hmmmmm it doesn’t feel like Mario kart to me. I love the excess amount of pink on the peach tracks but it’s not enough to carry . And the details are solid as usual. Music is good but the tracks ? Come on .
